Hi Everyone,

I've done some searching and can't seem to find anything related to promo code threads for Qantas ( VA has quite a large thread)
This leads me to believe that they may just not happen down at QF??

I was recently Status Matched to Qantas and therefore looking to get my feet wet with Qantas but thought it may be worth asking before booking a few sectors.

Any other little tips for a New QF Gold about anything? I'm pretty experienced in the VA side of things, but its a whole new set of systems over at Qantas (lots to learn)

Promo codes are rarely (possible never) available for directly booking QF fares. It's worth signing up for the Red E deal in your FF communications profile to be updated on any sale fares. The savings can be worth holding out for, e.g. a standard PER-SYD fare is approx $315, a Red E Deal will usually advertise them (for certain periods) at around $200-240ish.

I'd also bookmark the domestic and international flight offers pages and check them regularly for those periodic deeper discounts.

I would also note that most of the VA ones are not generally available.

Most have been specific offers to Virgin employees (plus a few top tier clients) and per the T&Cs need to be booked with a corporate email address.

The T&Cs have generally not been published when these codes have reached the promo sites. Use at your own risk.

You are right there, Thanks everyone for the fare tips. Let me know if theres any other little Qantas Insights you've got.

I'm looking forward to being more involved in the Qantas threads going forward, not just VA :)
