Just flew QF568 PER----->SYD and had selected a seat near the back of the J cabin upon booking and got moved to the front row at checkin. Any other flight than a red eye, I wouldn't have minded, but the noise from the galley and also the fact that they kept the curtains open or half open, for most of the flight really anoyed me. I'm now sitting at Sydney on no sleep and about to board another flight. Has anyone ever had their J seat changed at Check-in and can anyone shed some light on why they might have moved me?
It would be nice if they asked me, but just to change it has really rubbed me the wrong way. I am just glad that the service was excellent, except for the curtain being open.
