QF lounge Changes - New ADL Dom J, merged AKL lounges, Upgrades to ROK & PHE Lounge

Nothing to upgrade, expand - anything!! - the totally coughpy and permanently over-crowded HBA QP. Last time they announced anything on the HBA QP was when they put in a sandwich toaster.

never made much sense to bother with status ex Adelaide with no fancy lounges to rock into.... so I now got to Feb 2024 for them to Grace Radelaide with its presence but unlikely

So finally QF has come through with the ADL J lounge. I've mentioned this to every QF exec every time I've met them so finally they've listened

The potentioal for ADL could be so good to highlight our great food and I only see tis is as a wonderful postive.

The last time I remember anyone having a pie floater (Pie floater - Wikipedia.) was about 1992 but if you listen to the rest of the country they think we eat it every night.

Hmm. I wonder if QC and Gold members flying out on international flights out of ADL will get to use the new Business Lounge if travelling in Y? In theory it should be closer to International Business Lounge standard.

The ADL lounge is a great QP. The new J lounge will be another reason to want to retain WP.

Though I would have thought for those based in ADL, an international lounge would be a higher priority than adding a domestic J lounge. However those flying internationally from ADL would be flying e.g. Emirates etc.
