QF/JQ domestic flights leaving from international terminal

Sitting in the lounge at the moment waiting for my 1-hour delayed JQ flight to Melbourne. It took 12 minutes to get from check-in desk to the lounge today.

As long as you're aware and prepared for the LAG restrictions and ID checks, then it's kind of fun and novel, and the lounges are better, but there is no way I'd do this if I had anything urgent to attend to on the other side.

That beat my 18 mins to go from checkin to Flounge here in Sydney !
Are you here or in the J bus?

Are there and Australian domestic Qantas or Jetstar flights that leave from the international airport in Sydney?

QF33 Sydney-Perth-Paris leaves from the international terminal as does QF5 Sydney-Perth-Rome but it is seasonal.

Jetstar used to have 787 routes that would operate domestic legs of an international journey between Sydney and Melbourne, but I am not sure if they still do.

This week: JQ63 SYD-MEL on Wednesdays and JQ28 SYD-MEL on Saturdays

JQ still runs domestic flights from the International Terminal but there are not very reliable and they often cancels them if the inbound flight runs late (which happens occasionally) .

QF33 / the 787-9 domestic is a delight to catch once you have the SYD airport shenanigans under control, although it's quite a hassle to figure out the first time. I actually made use of the lie flat on my way to Perth after a long couple of days at a work conference.
