Since opening a QBR account in late 2019 I’ve just added my ABN to QF Hotels bookings via the regular QF Hotel booking portal. Those stays post to QBR at 1pt/$ (in addition to the personal 3pts/$ plus any promos and PC/PC+ points). Until recently I was oblivious that they count towards QBR Tier points - assuming it was just flying!*

Digging deeper, I see that QF Hotels are supposed to post to QBR at 3pts/$ IF booked via the QBR portal!

Is this a major Rookie mistake on my part? Can anyone confirm this or perhaps equally embarrassed that they’re missing out?

*post COVID, haven’t been doing huge amounts of paid QF metal premium travel, so the QBR earn has been modest and not usually sufficient to crack Tier 2, so haven’t been paying too much attention but happy to reap extra points on flying, wine and hotels…but currently 28 pts short of Tier 2 with less than 2 mths to go.

BTW, here’s the summary of QF Hotel earn (also Car Hire - AVIS/Budget - but I currently get better rental rates booking direct).

The flip side question is: Are QBR portal bookings eligible for the QF Hotel bonus points promos? I’d assume so?
