Been sent for two flight bookings a discount voucher to be used within 72 hours for hotel booking made through Qantas. Making a quick check it still seems, for example, at least for Accor in Brisbane, more expensive than booking through Accor directly as a Accor business card holder.

But the biggest laugh is within the usage T's &C's...well done Qantas.🫣🤪

" The $30 voucher can only be used on one transaction. The voucher must be used to make a booking by 0:00 (AEST) 1 January 1972, otherwise it will be forfeited"...🤣

1 January 1972 is day 1 in the Midas banking world for anyone familiar with that system. Obviously Qantas Hotels has made an error here but I would guess their system has also allocated this date as day 1.

Those short fuze vouchers used to be quite common but I haven’t received one in ages.

There’s actually some very good value in QF Hotels, plus a load of points earning capacity - although I tend to book direct for hotel chains I have or seeking status with.
