Hi There
Quick one for you all. I have seen away from Oz for a year now, living in Shanghai. I use *A for most of my travel in Asia. I am still QF Gold, but i see that they have brought in an eligibility requirement, that you have to fly on QF in order to attain / retain status. Thats a bummer, as any OW flights that i would do are normally UK or US and therefore not QF.
My question is this, if I lose my status, will my points remain. I thoguht my "account" was active provided that it had transactionsd at least once every three years - my old ANZ credit card sees to that.
Will they just drop me to bronze and leave me there, or remove my membership completely and make me burn my (significant) QF points in a hurry - which we all know would be tough to do.
Any bright sparks out there know the answer?
