A ~3 hour flight for $900 is a bargain? Hmmm.
1) $900 NZ
2) Not all of us are fortunate enough to have others pay for our flights (or wealthy enough to afford a proper F flight long haul) ;)

Aren't we at parity with the NZD?

And not the end of the world not flying First class.

Doesn't have to be long haul with EK though.

It doesn't have to be but if someone is looking to experience EK F (which is far superior then QF F) they must use QF points. There are no other ways to book EK to/from AU (unless member of their own FF membership).

That is true, but the post said 'I dont have enough money to fly first class" without any indication of a particular airline.

We had orginally planned to book EK F as part of this sale for next year, but with the trip we now have booked, we figure we're not in so much of a rush.

As others said, this sale comes and goes. It's a good way to top-up SCs in style if needed, otherwise can wait for the next sale and book when it's more convenient.

NZ are "talking/pushing" their dollar down, just like we are. AUD-NZD now $1.10.

You can also check LAN J SYD-AKL return.
Fares are quite good if you don't mind the shocking departure time from AKL...

I did look at that. The departure time doesn't work as we would be connecting from another city.

QF site keeps defaulting to .com.au Are you ppl using VPN to get to .co.nz ?
