Booked a flight during the double status credits promo for travel on Monday 2 March - the day before the eligible travel period (3 Mar 2026 to 12 Feb 2027)

Pleasantly surprised to see double status credits awarded!

I’ve heard QF is cracking down on various loopholes in future promos - but not implemented for this one.

Does that mean if I need to change the date of my flight later the DSC won’t apply for future DSC offers?

It currently means nothing. Pure speculation on the part of the poster. Qantas has known about this matter for a decade and chosen to do nothing about it each year. Indeed, it was a Qantas representative (Red Roo) who tipped many people off to it. People started predicting its demise in 2016-17. Any day now...
