QF Double Status Credits February 2026 Promo

Wondering if anyone has had experience with booking through Finnair that had a Qantas segment.
Mine is:
AY: HEL > SIN
QF: SIN > SYD
with the QF segment having a QF number QF2 (as opposed to an AY 4 digit codeshare number).
Would the SIN > SYD leg qualify for DSC?

I was referring to targeting of the emails. Of course Jack Africa and blind Freddy could register, if they knew about it.
Comes up every promo that some peeps didn’t get the email and they’re usually advised to check their account settings for QF communications subscriptions.

But even then, it’s possible to be dropped entirely from email feeds or blocked, sent to junk etc.

I first saw the announcement here, then checked my email and sure enough it was there. It was also IMO very prominent in the app and banner on the website. Plus I saw it mentioned on the TV news on two different channels, Facebook and other frequent flyer newsletters.

Possibly the most promoted DSC since they started.

If you waiting on a DSC promo and dont always received marketing emails (check spam and also preferences) best to log into Qantas every couple of days to see what offers are live.

the T&Cs explicitly say that the QANTAS flights on leased Finnair planes do qualify

Yes, as long as the booking is otherwise eligible (ie. within the appropriate date ranges and a QF code on QF metal) the QF segment will get DSC. It doesn't matter who the booking was done with.

Just realised I booked for the 14th of Feb 2027, which is outside the validity period - oops! Going to have to call up some time in the next 11 months to get that changed to a week earlier. $175 change fee 😞

This has happened to me before and it was fine (no follow up required). Date issued is different to date the booking was created.
Can relate.

I only made one solid booking last night.

I would have made some other ones, but the particular subsystem kicked itself and kept erroring out when I clicked to pay.

The last booking I made, I hit the pay button at 2359 and I saw the confirmation page at 2359. But when I got my etix issued, it said the date issued was today (3 Mar). So I'm a bit scared that booking is not going to work.

So my year is off to a rocky start. I'd like to say I pray for another DSC a la last year, but it's not good to rely on such things happening.
I booked 2 just before midnight on the 2/3/36, one ticket came through at 12.01am with the ticket issued on 2/3/26, however the other ticket came through at 12.06am with the ticket issued on 3/3/26. If double status credits do not issue for the latter ticket, has anyone had any success getting similar sorted on a call?
