QF Double Status Credits February 2026 Promo

Ended up getting CBR-SYD-BKK in J for the NY period at the end of the year. Was it the best DSC... prob not, nor the best price, but it is for NY, it is in J and will net me 580SCs. That will pretty much keep me in Gold til July 2028 and be about 2000 SC's short of LTG. I do want to hit LTG though before its enhanced.... Although the latest changes seem to leave it alone, which probably means any further enhancements are potentially 5 years away. I'll have it by then.

If the PNR was allocated before the payment you will hopefully be ok.

Booked using an old flight credit prior to midnight last night (previously refunded to voucher before 24th Feb), and noticed that the PNR of the new booking remains the same.

Here is what Terms and Conditions say about converting flight credits:



A couple of questions:

1. Should this credit correctly, noting no PNR change?
2. Would we expect change in cabin class to affect eligibility, noting international flight (so needs to be done via call centre)?

If it doesn’t credit automatically you can chase it up after the time in the T&Cs have elapsed after your flights. Keep your e-ticket that shows you booked during the window and proof of when your flight credit was issued if you have that too.

In past DSC promos flight credits issued before the start of the DSC booking window were not eligible. As the DSC bot uses PNR date and Travel date to determine eligiblity.

Also I don't think the they can actually deny DSC for credits created after 24th Feb and redeemed before 2nd March. If you registered for DSC on 24th Feb, bought a fully flex ticket on 25th Feb, cancelled that to credit on 26th Feb and then used it book another flight on 28th Feb there should be no reason this isnt eligible as all purchases were made in the DSC promo window.

Same happened to me for CNS-BNE-ADL-PER CR-J. Points were reduced on the purchase page with a little notification at the top saying so.

Has happened on occasions for a few years now. Not that often but I've seen it a few times over the years.

Your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number must be recorded at the time of registration and booking to qualify.

Hopefully it won't kill my DSC for my JFK->AKL->PER->SYD->SIN on my DONE4, as I added my FF number this morning (the travel agent didn't add my FF number when they set the booking up, then again they didn't know what it was)

Hasn't been an issue historically (provided that the passenger(s) had registered for the promo).

FWIW, Qantas is renowned for including poison pills in their T&C that ultimately aren't - or can't be - enforced.

With the DSC this is a 1,805 SC ticket, without it, it is just 1,285 (of which 200 is prior to my anniversary)

With the DSC it gets me to Platinum end 2028, without it, well, not so good.

I only made one solid booking last night.

I would have made some other ones, but the particular subsystem kicked itself and kept erroring out when I clicked to pay.

The last booking I made, I hit the pay button at 2359 and I saw the confirmation page at 2359. But when I got my etix issued, it said the date issued was today (3 Mar). So I'm a bit scared that booking is not going to work.

So my year is off to a rocky start. I'd like to say I pray for another DSC a la last year, but it's not good to rely on such things happening.

The last booking I made, I hit the pay button at 2359 and I saw the confirmation page at 2359. But when I got my etix issued, it said the date issued was today (3 Mar). So I'm a bit scared that booking is not going to work.

This has happened to me before and it was fine (no follow up required). Date issued is different to date the booking was created.

Decided to only go for 1 DSC Booking (short hop SYD-MEL on Business Classic Rewards), just meeting the 4 flight requirement before the anniversary ends in May to retain Silver Status.

Only a leisure traveller and trying to keep a tight budget for flights + hotels so my big trips this year will probably be on CX Economy Award flights and not QF so no rush in that regard.

I'm ahead of you. Finished by 2pm. It takes a while, weeks, usually for the first batch.

This DSC offer was not targeted. Even if you didn’t get the email it was prominently displayed in the QANTAS app and on the website.

Sometimes when there are multiple offers in one year some can be targeted, but the first one early in the calendar year is pretty much always available to all.

FWIW In the past I had a PNR created before midnight but because booked through a TA it was manually ticketed next morning (after the end of the booking period). I still got the DSC.

I'm a bit pi$$ed, I have a Europe trip planned for August/September and have been waiting for the offer as I'm close to LTG but not travelling for work any more. I was in the app and the website on Thursday and all day Sunday booking and then rebooking a trip to London for my daughter which was interrupted by the ME events...didn't see any banners or promo messages at all. There was also an interesting email sent last week sent about changes to the program, which made me go to the site, and again nothing :-(
