Speaking of rebooking. Can anyone recommend a movie that is often the subject of schedule changes months in advance, which I could buy tickets to now and change to a perhaps more interesting screening without further fees?

Tricky given your location, but I’ve found that cinemas at the Gold and Sunshine Coast have frequent changes to their screening times, especially when you book a same day screening at one of the NZ cinemas.

A change to the screening time of one film often makes it difficult to attend the second screening and you need to amend you choice of films.
