I just tried to check availability for a BNE-SYD on Sunday using classic awards redemptions and there doesn't appear to be an option at all (as opposed to "no seats").

I may be mistaken but didn't it used to be that you could use classic awards (if there are seats available) anytime (even same day) instead of now not being able to use them earlier than 3 days before the date of the flight?

I also had a look at Brisbane to Sydney and I could book an award flight today or tomorrow, but nothing for Sunday, so it looks as though there are genuinely none available.

QLD school Holidays start soon and whilst some schools break up on Fri 24 Jun it's possible that other schools finish earlier than that so I imagine award seats would be quite limited for Sun 19 Jun however I can see availability for both tomorrow Fri 17 Jun on several flights ie just over 24 hours away.

Although Sat 18 Jun shows availability all options are BNE/xMEL/SYD so a lot more points are required. Sun 19 Jun is the only day that has zero availability as all other dates for the rest of June have seats. Is flying on Fri 17 or Mon 20 Jun an option for you?

In addition to that there was an email 3 days ago offering 15% off domestic Classic rewards booked between 14 Jun and 27 Jun for travel 14 June through to 02 Jun 2017 so there may have been a spike in award bookings over the last 3 days.

The availability doesn't look any different to what I would normally see when checking availability on the Qantas website. I'm using Chrome as a browser on an ASUS netbook so not sure if it's your browser that causing issues.

Thanks - maybe it is the case that all availability for sunday is gone that's why it doesn't show as "no seats" but just no option at all. I did get a Monday flight but later than I would have liked. Very popular weekend it seems (either that or less classic award availability).
