What is the domestic to international connection in BNE like?
I have a CBR-xBNE-LAX flight coming up and have only been through BNE once, connecting in the other direction (SIN-xBNE-CBR).
How is it compared to SYD?

Re: BNE D-I connection

Free transfer bus that leaves regularly. 15 minutes max.
No sweat at all compared to SYD.

Re: BNE D-I connection

A QF boarding pass is all you need to get on the transfer bus. Takes a while given the route, but free and easy as Mule said. The train is probably quicker on average, but not free for QF flyers.

Re: BNE D-I connection

You will get both boarding passes in CBR and bags will be through checked to LAX. All you need to do after arriving from CBR is to make your way out the front of the QF terminal to the bus stop to catch the TBus. It's free for anybody whether a QF pax or not. How long do you have in between flights?

If the TBus is heading to the international terminal only it will drop you off on level 2 at the international terminal before picking up pax on the arrivals level there and returning back to the domestic terminal. Take the lift up to level 4 for departures.

If the TBus is going to both the international terminal and Skygate/DFO then it will drop you off at level 4 at the international terminal where it picks people up at BIT and takes them on to Skygate. Just make sure you don't jump on the staff bus or the Airpark bus who both also pickup from the same bus stop.

Looks like from the E/F display below (my bolding) that the MCT for a QF dom flight QF400-QF2999 connecting to a QF intl flight QF1-QF399 is 1 hour 15 mins.

There is a timetable at the bus stop that lists the bus pickup times. The bus also does a pickup outside the VA terminal before heading on the international terminal.
