Looking through some old family photos today, and came across the attached pics in a postcard from Darwin in the early '50's.

i take it things have changed since then ? :)

Yes there has been some change ( modest sic )and Cyclone Tracy in 1974 made sweeping changes. Last used Darwin lounge last year several times while working off shore.
 
Great pics!

While I've only spent a couple of hours in the lounge recently, I have to say I like it. Cool, airy and plenty of seats.
