Maybe it is EK doing SIN-PER, with QF code-share with it.
That's possible

... SYD-NRT QF21/QF22 is currently 747 daily. not 3-4 weekly. The current timetable is overnight flights in both direction requiring 2 aircraft.Don't think there is many 747 routes which can be replaced by a A330 anymore, maybe SYD-NRT which is only 3-4 days & SYD-HKG.

Now that's just teasing.Someone mentioned PER-SIN-DXB... maybe with timings like this?
PER-SIN 2340-0500
SIN-DXB 0700-1010
DXB-SIN 1210-2340
SIN-PER 0120-0630
If they had enough A330's for another 14 hours, add in DXB-FRA-DXB.
It's only one aircraft sitting at NRT during the day (QF21 arrive 0630, QF22 depart 2030, they pass each other in flight somewhere near Guam)OT but relate to tag flights and SYD-NRT was mentioned upthread where both 744s sit in Japan for 12 hours or so.
SYD-NRT-ICN ???
Doesn't EK have issues with German slots? If QF were to have a 3rd aircraft into DXB, wouldn't they "ask" QF to send it to Germany?A PER-SIN-DXB flight would be a welcome addition, and even better if the plane continued to FRA/CDG/TXL. But I know, probably not going to happen.

You're quite right. The German government won't let EK operate to more than 4 German ports. Currently they fly to FRA, MUC, DUS and HAM. TXL/BER would be an obvious fifth destination and I have long thought that QF would be successful operating to Berlin with an EK codeshare.
But at least it is an opportunity to travel to SIN on QF aircraft and earn SCs and points or use points for awards.A tag flight like that would be a great opportunity to visit the ADL F lounge - oh wait...![]()
Why can't transit passengers be allowed to stay onboard? Reduces the transit time considerably.ADL-PER-SIN would rely on people travelling on D stickers for the first leg, and replace a domestic service. At ADL end this probably is no big deal, as its the same terminal However, at the PER end would this be a problem?
