What do you mean by this - I am a newby member here and am hoping to find 2 return economy flights Sydney to Rome/Milan for fairly specific dates next May/June 2014. I know they dont start coming on line till the end of next week for the outbound journey but I am alarmed at the lack of seats available leading up to the dates I want - going back some months! I want Emirates for the lesser points but more importantly the lesser taxes (about $600 for 2 versus $1000+ with Cathay/Qantas/BA Combos). Also the more direct flights rather than via London to Italy seems silly.
Any advice greatly appreciated. A few weeks ago we were looking and there were lots of Emirates flights available on lots of dates prior and then our hopes have been dashed as there arent the same flight options coming up and I am sure a lot of the previous ones have been removed?!
Planning to go with friends who can afford Business - we wont be going if we cant use our QFF points!
