So my friend & I both went QF1 in J to LHR on different days.

My friends experience was not so great.
THey called a few days before and confirmed the booked pickup time
The scheduled time rolls by and they didnt show up. 20 minutes later he calls QF to ask whats happening. Gets the call back service the agent then calls the CD company to find out whats happening. The CD apparently thought there was some delay in the flight due to QF2 arriving late and so pushed back the pickup time without telling anyone. Apparently they arent coming for another 40 minutes.
The agent confirms that there was no delay and the flight is scheduled to take off on time. At this point my friend doesnt want to wait around any longer and says he will make his own way. The start of his trip has been ruined and he is really upset about it.

In contrast my CD experience was fine. Got called a few days before and the driver showed up a little early and was apologetic about it and the drive went smoothly to the airport.

Is the CD really like that? Hit or miss?
Is this something RED ROO can help with or does anyone know who to speak to about making this right either QF or the CD company?

did your friend travel QF1 on 28/7? Our scheduled pickup for 11:45am for qf1 did not turn up, so after waiting for 15 mins I called the chauffeur service directly and they mumbled something similar about our flight been delayed and that that "we're still waiting to hear from Qantas". I explained to them in no uncertain terms that it is not the qf2 aircraft that is flying out of Sydney as qf1 due to the ways qantas deploys their fleet, and inquired about what rights did they have to alter my nominated pickup time without being instructed by either myself or Qantas. The replacement car turned 15 mins after my call. I passed it as feedback to Qantas on checkin, and turns out it is the Syd DFW qf7 flight that was delayed by 9 hours that day.
