I am looking to take a short trip to Fiji next month. QF have $AU331 flights (SYD-NAN) each way on their Australian site and aprox $AU164 each way on their South Pacific website.

Is there anything to stop me booking from South Pacific site and getting the cheaper flights?

Bear in mind that prices quoted on the Fiji site exclude taxes. Once you add these on, while it is cheaper, much of the difference in price has gone away.

I could not see the $164 fare..

But could seea $229 one..

This on procesing became...

Price Passengers Total Price$386.70 x1 Adult =$386.70* (FJD)

Which is about $278 AUS

* Charges and taxes are included, except where local airport taxes are collected at time of check-in.

There should be nothing stopping you booking a one-way flight SYD-NAN and then booking a one-way flight NAN-SYD taking advantage of the lower airfare ex-NAN. Many of us already do this with flights to New Zealand.

Unfortunately I do not think you can book the whole trip from the South Pacific site as SYD would not be available as the point of origin.
