Hello All,

I seem to remember QF saying that they'd retain a codeshare service on BA for a flight from SIN-LHR for those who wish to transit in SIN. Has this been revoked? If so why. I cannot seem to find any reference to it I believe it was something like QF3345 or something like that.

The codeshares are being removed, (the AFR reported that it was a BA decision):

Effective 31 March 2013, the Qantas code will be removed from the following flights and Qantas codeshare customers will be rebooked onto the operating airline flight number:

- British Airways operated flights between Singapore - London (LHR) and Bangkok - London

  • QF319/QF320/QF3345/QF3346/QF3501/QF3502

Flight Disruptions | Qantas

Correct, that was QF's intention (to codeshare on the BA flights SIN-LHR-SIN), but BA has refused to co-operate. Of course, you can still fly QF to SIN and then BA to LHR (but on the BA code).

I guess now the status bonus does make a difference if wanting to fly BA.
