Hi Guys,

Just need some advice on a ticket i purchased a few months ago with QF.

I purchased a flexi fare from MEL-SIN and no longer need to travel on this flight. When i head to the booking on the site it gives me the option to cancel the ticket, but when pressing that it says it will be giving me a credit voucher.
I was under the impression that this fare was a fully-refundable ticket and that it could go back onto my creditcard... Is this just a design error in the website or will it give me a voucher instead of a refund as per the fare rules?!

Cheers!

It depends on the fare rules. In unsure of the rules, phone Qantas and check the rules of the ticket purchased. Flexible does not necessarily mean that it is refundable and the site may be correct in only offering credit

No i'm absolutly sure of the fare rules for this ticket.

Cancellations (including no show)
  • Before departure (Not applicable to Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Awards):
    • Full refund.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue at all.. And i'll eventually call QF and ask them too.
