Hi there. I’m flying Business Class later in the year on this flight.
I’ve been told that because the Syd/Perth leg is domestic then no noise cancelling headphones are issued,, unlike the Perth to Paris leg.
Has anyone flown this domestic leg recently and confirm if this is true re the headphones ?
Many thanks in advance for your replies
Cheers

I don’t think any QF J or F headphones are noise cancelling, are they?

Well the last international Business Class flight I took with Qantas they certainly provided noise cancelling headphones…..unless things have changed 😂
They are a closed design, and perhaps they may offer a little active noise cancelling, but QF's J headphones are not in the same league as probably any commercial NC headphones available and I certainly wouldn't ever rely on them for a long haul flight. I don't consider them to be noise cancelling (using my Bose headphones as my benchmark). Some airlines do offer well known brand NC headphones to some classes, but true noise cancelling is really a BYO requirement in most cases.

Well I think QF provides over ear headphones that have three prongs to plug in. If they are noise cancelling, I’d love to know what noises they take aim at. :p

I take my own. I’ll need to test them out properly next time. I bet it’s no different to my Sony ones with the power switched off - i.e. large over ear headphone that blocks noise, not cancels it.
