QCC has anyone elses card stopped working? Online, at an EFTPOS, everywhere?

dont whether its me having a senior moment or not but preloaded SGD onto my QCC and on arrival into Singapore withdrew money from the ATM...checked a day or two later and whoa the SGD were not taken from my balance but were converted from my USD balance with charges of course...Called the UK and was told 1. you should have chosen local currency from the ATM menu...dumb as cause we all know thats not possible with the ATM only dispensing local currency and 2. told that my default currency was AUD and therefore for one to be able to withdraw locally you must change your default currency online to the currency you will be using....Well that was not the case in July when we successfully used CAD and USD without changing the default currency so something has changed and I've been stung by Qantas...Not a very happy camper and told QCC and thankfully fully recorded so when I get back home next week an interesting conversation will be taking place.

Yes, sorted to 99%.
Still don't know why QCC NB stopped working for sure.
QCC PS works very well.
Hope no one else faces this problem though
