Hi,

I have booked PE seat Qantas YVR-BNE with codeshare Westjet within Canada (all on QF flights) June-August seasonal. I am Qantas silver f/f.
Checking my flights on my mobile device it says I am Qantas Club Silver- with no expiry date I can find. Connection in Syd -Relax in Syd QC.
I would have booked my journey online with Qantas but it kept taking me thru LAX and I wanted QF 76-75 via Vanc.
I was not charged a service fee with call centre but could not use points/pay.
Btw- Qantas guy answers my call "Welcome Qantas Premium"
I have never reached Gold nor have I paid for QC mship.

Any hints on how I got this.
Btw my QF year ends April 30 and I fly June 30.
Thanks.

You should login to the Internet portal and check what the QFF status is that way. Sounds like a glitch, but happy hunting.

Ok logged on desktop and I'm still QC Silver. No relax in QC lounge in Syd though.

A similar thing happened to Ms Galah when her SG status expired and dropped back to PS. IIRC she had 3 months of "Qantas Club Silver" after her membership year ended.

It sounds like you should have QP access until end of your membership year, at least. Have you previously held SG status? Perhaps you've been comp'd QP membership for some other reason?

I phoned QC and I was told it was a glitch that I had been given QC m/ship bc I had inquired online for a quote to join. The rep said sometimes this happens. Hence she has refreshed my account and I no longer have QC. I suppose I could have not done anything and maybe enjoyed the perks but that was somehow dishonest.

This doesn't make a lot of sense, because Silver does not give you access to the lounge.
