I'm flying on QF 296 on a business classic reward out of Bangkok soon and I'm scoping out my lounge options. I read a while back that people were struggling to get into oneworld lounges in Bangkok if they weren't flying the airline that operates the lounge. Well it looks like Qantas sends it's business class passengers to the Air France lounge I'm wondering if it's possible to access the Qatar lounge or if I'm likely to be turned back. Has anyone had experiences with this recently? I'd also be interested if people have been able to get into the Cathay lounge

I've had no problems accessing the Qatar and Cathay lounges there a couple of months ago flying QF business.

That BKK Airport policy was fairly short lived.
It should be possible to access QR and CX at present,

But QR will be moving it's lounge to the Satellite terminal soon (joining EK) and it's currently only possible to access this terminal if you depart from it.

Hopefully not in the next week! That article also says that the CX lounge isn't accessible before the Qantas flight, which is a shame

Tha article is from February and indicates capacity issues. Since then I had little trouble accessing the CX lounge.
