The class seems to have been snaffled up really quickly on all the days I’ve checked. Saved around $6k so very happy anyway. Must remember to pay the balance by Sunday.

I find it interesting to see an Australian travel agent picking up on an ex-Indonesia fare. It's not uncommon to get good deals like this out of Asia, but it's less common to see them advertised by Australian travel agents.

I have just booked Sin/Barcelona (3 + weeks)/Doha (2 nights)/Per in September/October for Sing$7,270. About $4,000 cheaper than out of Perth so I am happy. Will probably try ScootBiz Per/Sin for a bit of a laugh. All we want is leg & elbow room for the 5 hour flight, so the lack of any real amenities is not a bother - and I will leave a couple of days stopover to allow for delays.

Yeah. I’m with you there. We are doing a cheap star flight up to Bali direct from Adelaide also in September and will arrive 2 days earlier. Flight is at 9pm ish. The TA put us on ADL - Syd - Bali in J and their price was $10500. Doing it through the website DPS-CDG- CDG - Sydney was just over $7000. Last Friday we did the J ADL-SYD-DPS in J and it’s not a premium experience but priced as such. Doing the reverse tonight from Bali.

Joined up with Qatar program and will allocate credits and points there as they don’t earn QFF points at this rate.

I found some ex DPS in September and back to MEL mid October in R class. It took a bit of hunting to know which flights fell into R class.

Flightfinder helped me to find some good fares DPS - Doha - Paris - doha - ADL in Sept
Very happy with the price. Will book CBR to DPS later on when we are closer to the date. Have to say DPS not my favourite place, but at the price I can get over it!

Managed to get 2 business returns including a Business Leg out of Sydney via QF for $4,000 per pax in June 2018 for wedding in Toulouse, with outgoing in R & return in I. Not as great as some on here but still $2-3K ahead of budget per pax. Nice way to start planning a holiday..
