Qatar baggage allowances

I haven't done much international flying so I'm hoping some of the more "frequent" fliers here might be able to help. I'm flying economy from Melbourne to Berlin via Doha on Qatar Airways, and am wondering about the luggage allowance. It's 23kg for economy, and just wondering if there's typically any leeway given. (I'll be there for about four months and will need to bring a fair bit with me, so I'll probably end up with about 25kg if I can.)

I do not have any experience with Qatar but I have flown many airlines internationally in economy and generally most allow a leeway of around 2-3 kgs, sometimes even more if you get the right check-in agent.

Just recently on SQ i had bag, golf clubs and carry-on. The bag and golf clubs were ~22kgs (20kg limit) and the carry-on was ~8.5kgs. The check-in agent asked me to take something out of the carry-on and put it into checked luggage.
