Qatar Airways Redeeming miles on Partner Airlines

Do any members here have experience in booking award flights on partner airline with their Qatar Qmiles?

Their website allows you to set your airline, origin, and destination, but there is no option for time of day / which flight...

As such, my attempted online redemption came back with a tentative booking email with impossible flight times (due to connecting flights), e.g. I needed the 06:00 flight, and they have chosen the 22:20 flight... :-|

I am wary to reply back asking to change the flight times, as the email seems generic and automated, and states 'please revert from your registered email address, if you wish to confirm this reservation', so replying back might trigger them to confirm the flight and debit my account.

Is anyone aware of another channel I can use to make/amend a award flight redemption?

I don't have any points with them but have you tried calling? I'd go for their Canadian or US office just for ease of language and accent.

I don't see any harm in emailing them asking them to change the flight time for connections?
