Hello everyone.

I'm seeing a $1035 fare for Melbourne to Oslo on Qatar Airways on lastminute.com for departures between 6 Oct to 20 Oct. Doesn't seem to be on the Qatar Airways website though.

Great deal. If they ever have another deal similar to their BRU offer ($798 rtn) during uni holidays I've decided I'm going to go for a few days.

Its a very good deal from Melbourne, but in the email i received from them today they are quoting US$354 return from Jakarta which is just phenominal!!! Add a couple hundred bucks for a round trip ticket to Jakarta from Perth and i'd snap it up in aheart beat if the travel window wasn't so limited in terms of dates and if i didn't have only 4 days leave left after my 2-3 month RTW trip earlier this year...

But a good airline to keep an eye out for with these sorts of deals appearing from time to time when they add new destinations...

Wow you're right, that's unbelievable. I would do it in a heart beat like you say if the dates were right.

PER-CGK on JQ then QR...Why the restrictive dates! February would have been perfect :)

Also when i clicked through on the email it took me to a page that i think said that travel had to occur between 6 and 20 october, but in the first few lines of the email it said this, which is slightly less restrictive if it actually governed the offer...

"Book your flight by 18th October and begin your travels on or before 19th October 2011"

Which would mean you don't have to be back within 14 days...

Definitely wish this offer was available next year but lets hope there is another european city added by then...

the fare conditions state min 3 max 30 day stay. so you just have to commence travel by the date indicated above.

Ahh ok...

On the page you go through to after clicking the email in the terms and conditions down the bottom it states:

Book by: 19th October 2011
Travel between: 5th October and 19th October 2011

Which sounded like a defined travel period but I could suppose just relate to when you have to depart by...

Just thought I'd let people here know some smart cookie at FT noticed that SIN-xDOH-OSL is pricing at ~US$350 too :D

Wow! Fantastic prices, if only I had the flexibility to take advantage of such great last minute deals.

The ex SIN 350 deal is cheaper than us folks crossing the Tasman for a long weekend.

Love you long time, Marco. Can you let me know if any Australian Credit Card has Qatar Airways Privilege Club as a partner? I searched but could not find any.

hi browski . Qatar Airways Privilege Club dont corporate with Credit Card , only with 2 bank QNB MasterCard credit cards and QIB Qatar Islamic Bank and they are both from qatar . so we cannot have like this privilege . but Qatar Airways Privilege Club doesn't care about credit card , just register online in qmiles . com and then you will receive membership number immediately by email . and they will send you membership card by post. evry time you buy online ticket , put always your membership number and you will get Qmiles points . you can check you points in your account. you can change qmiles to free ticket ot free night in hotel ... , i already got 3 free ticket . you can use your your membership card in airport for qatar airways lounges . they have realy nice service there in many airport . ;)

From now to 17th November 2011, save up to 25% on Economy Class, 20% on Business Class, and 15% on First Class* fares throughout the expanding Qatar Airways network. ;)

Seems like that MEL-OSL fare has disappeared. Probably should have snapped it up while I had the chance.
