QR907 (Monday 25 November, the 1640 hours SYD up to DOH, A35X A7-ANB) did not take off until 1754 so arrival should be at about 0048 hours on Tuesday 26, 103 late.

The short hop of QR906 (A350X A7-ANN) on Friday 17 January 2020 from SYD down to CBR, the 0740 hours, has seen takeoff at 0844 with expected at gate arrival 0920 hours, 40 minutes tardy.

QR906 is again somewhat delayed, with the Wednesday 22 January 0740 hours SYD - CBR airborne at 0831 with A359 A7-ANF, so predicted at gate arrival is 0911, 31 behind.

On Saturday 8 February 2020, QR905 (the 2220 hours redeye from MEL to DOH, A380 A7-APC) took off extremely promptly (ahead of time) at 2228 hours but from the look of FR24, it may be dumping fuel (?) and returning to MEL:

One Twitter gent said 'I don't normally get 'you' (i.e. the QR flight) over the (southern suburb of) Malvern at 6000ft.'

UPDATE: One source suggests it's a problem with landing gear. Another said it would 'land overweight.' It is dumping fuel: a third source says this will 'take an hour.'

FR24 is under the misapprehension that it will arrive in DOH at 0700 hours, 105 minutes late. Not if it's returning to MEL it won't.

No surprise, but as at 0815 hours on Sunday 9 February, A380 A7-APC remains in MEL. Passengers must be in hotels (or perhaps if Melbourne residents, back in their homes.)

On Sunday 9 February, QR908 (A380 A7-API on this DOH - SYD) is holding (as are many others) on approach, in its case near Crookwell, with suggested arrival at 1938 hours, 53 late.

On Monday 23 March 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic, QR8882 is operating. B773 A7-BAH took off at 1131 and appears to be making an intermediate stop in PER from about 1213 hours, 32 minutes late local time. Destination is DOH, unsurprisingly.

The word 'huge' can often be one to avoid but is applicable if discussing the reduction in the number of international flights thanks to coronavirus.

QR is till operating to and from Oz, unlike some other airlines that have cancelled all flight.

On Sunday 30 March 2020, QR906 (the Saturday 29 0755 hours DOH - SYD that did not take off until 1923 hours) is expected to arrive at 1703 hours, 653 minutes late, with B773ER A7-BEO. All passengers will then be quarantined in hotel(s) for a fortnight.

QR may well have ramped up its flights to and from Oz more than any other operator during coronavrus. Most, as AFFers know only too well, have either ceased or are running far fewer flights.

On Thursday 16 April 2020, QR8881, an unattractively timed 0320 hours MEL - DOH was airborne at 0559 hours.

On Monday 20 April 2020, QF8880, an 0150 hours scheduled arrival in MEL (ex DOH) is expected to arrive at its gate at about 0700 hours.

QF8881, the 0320 hours MEL - DOH is displaying as an 0900 hours pushback.
