Neither VA or QF standalone domestic flights earn QPoints but flying VA you can at least earn Avios. QF is zip, nada, zilch regardless of fare type.
I don't care about QPoints. All I care is turn on My List and Family List. Would any VA cash fare works, including Lite?

Good news. Got 95 Avios applied to my QR PC account from VA eligible flight I took on Thursday. So it took 3 days for the points to apply.

Immediately logged into QR account and added partner to my list and booked flights home from Europa next July. BCN- DOH - AKL in Qsuites for 90,000 pp. very happy. 😀

Ps what’s with QR charging for seat selection now? I didn’t pay…not sure there are any bad seats in QSuites. 🤷‍♂️

EDIT - just read on another thread OW Sapphire can choose seats for free. I’ll add my QF number and see if it works.

I am taking a SYD-OOL flight on VA to activate the F+F list…on seperate issue in the past it was extremely easy to book Australia-Europe in Business redemption for 90K points as soon as the flights were loaded - normally 355 days out. Now even with that it only shows double the points required - can’t see any what they now brand as “off peak”…looks like they don’t really exist…was such a good way of redeeming seats - now it’s a joke. Even using velocity points no QR redemptions except on VA wet lease flights
