Qatar adding 777's to DOH-SYD?

QR3223 and QR7424 are Qatari B777's flying seemingly a daily service into sydney, leaving 1 hours earlier than the original QR908/909. Seems like an additional service? Anything to do with the 25% in velocity? I thought they had the 28 flights/day cap?

Absolutely nothing to do with Virgin or Velocity. As @williamsf1 has said they're probably special charter flights (because of the Lebanon situation or for some other reason). They started on 6/7 October and there have been a total of 3 flights so far.
