Quick question - is the arrangement QF have with Alliance just a codeshare or will Alliance operate under the QFLink umbrella brand? (i.e. will the Fokker 100's be re-painted as QF Link?)

Thanks

I found this on another message board.

Both the F100s are only on 12 month contracts with QantasLink, so repainting them is unlikely. The routes flown ex PER will be replaced with QF 737s and the Q400s will likely go back on BNE-MKY soon.

Indeed, I believe that the agreement (at least from a PER perspective) with Alliance came about as it was the quickest way to increase capacity (it would have taken longer to get a 717 ready to go for example). I don't think it was meant as a long term solution. I believe that the F100 out of PER gets replaced with a 737 Feb/Mar next year.
