I now try to use JQ , pay all extras get great service and never more than 5 mins to call centre. Their International flights are also better considering price paid. Glad JQ serve S.E Asia as they do. Domestically QF gave many flts to JQ.

JQ was established by QF to smash union negotiated pay rates, practices & reduce all costs to as low as possible. They received brand new aircraft ordered by QF, whilst QF got nothing. Charge for everything model adopted and is popular with some markets. People forget that Alan Joyce loves Jetstar and he came from JQ.

Hi, Has anybody been successful getting refunds on money that QF should be refunding? I’m making no progress and intend to take it further now. Any suggestions on which government body might assist please?
