Aramex used to the Fastway years back, wasnāt it? I just remembered why I trust them zero: About 20 years ago when I was āfresh off the boatā from Germany, I could barely afford my food and rent, let alone an IPhone (it was actually not even out here in Australia) but needed new headphones for my little IPod Mini. So I ordered them from Apple and back in the day, they had a huge Apple logo on their cartons so everyone could see thereās something āfancyā in there. I lived in the midst of Redfern for all places, flat sharing in an old terrace house on Pitt Street which came with all sorts of dodgy folks as you would imagine in that area.
I was in my first office job here in Australia while the Fastway courier arrived and what did he do, in Redfern (!)- placed my Apple box into the garbage bin outside of the house! I frantically called all my flat mates and finally found one who was home to recover my parcel but hell, I thought, ātheyāre more incompetent than DHLā!
