Not sure whether to put it here on the Qantas call centre thread but I need to let off some steam:
I've been shopping big time with Qantas wine since the early Epicure days but never really had to call about an account matter with them before so I have only ever spoken to the lovely "Consultants" who want to sell you something.
But if you press "1" for deliveries or accept inquiries, oh boy, was that different: The WORST Philippine call centre agent I've encountered in years (and that means something)- zero clue, zero empowerment besides confirming your details once again (Of course, I had already typed in my number and password etc.), endless waits on hold and then "sorry, cannot do" on the simplest of requests possible.
It was a total waste of about half an hour of my life and it was a truly torturous experience. And that callcentre lady, just the worst of the worst.
