Curious to see peoples thoughts on this "mystery case". Quoted as $1011 reduced to $300. Certainly has my attention!

I had a crack. $160 + ~20k points
Whilst not a mixed dozen I'd personally put together down at the local, for what I paid don't think it's too bad (although tbh never heard of some!)
Will quaff some and prob donate some to school fundraiser.

I bought it a couple of weeks ago, not bad for what ended up coming in it I though.

I churn wine for points and right now you can get Coonwarra Heirloom for $350 a case with 15k bonus points. (Minus 10% PCP discount, minus $50 voucher). I buy alot and generally store most but I took 5 cases of this wine we have now nicknamed the syrup.

At 14.5% (claimed, i think its much higher) i took a bottle to drink with my dad. The first thing i noticed is how thick it is much like a syrup or prune juice. Before the bottle was over he was falling asleep. We drink alot of wine but this wine knocked him right over.

Fast forward a week i took 2 bottles to an italian restaurant and this wine knocked my brother out to the point he asked me to stop 3 times on the way home as he was dizzy.

In the end 75000 points + about 3600 points in 3 to 1 $ spend and $1200 this is one of the strongest and best wines ive bought. Has anyone else tried this beauty?

Anyone making use of the current point points per case offers?

I personally placed an order totalling over 80,000 points in order to maintain and re-qualify for PCP in the coming year. Cost-wise worked out markedly less than applying for sign-up credit card bonus

Cost wise in actual dollar outlay?

how???

4 doz with 20k points each?
that's still ~5hunj a doz, so 2g's total.

or are you taking into account the cost benefits of PCP? Not that that would tip the difference.

1 credit card, just a single credit card you'll score 80k point minimum, say 3hunj absolt max yearly fee. bi less than 2g's.

as someone once said, 'please explain'.

haha. i think i've caused some confusion.

I meant the 80k points for 2k total cost. Which would be comparable to sign up bonus for a credit card with most minimum spends requiring $3k+ in the first 60-90 days.

I ended up earning 79k points directly from my purchase and received a further 18k points via my qantas wine advisor, for a total cost of $1,800.

But you can get the same amount of points for ~$300 annual fee? Book a refundable trip and cancel once you get the points

Works out at $37 a pop!

Hi all - do you know if Qantas Wine are still doing their $50 birthday vouchers? I never got mine this year and I am Points Club Plus, so should get 2. Or have they scrapped this?

I received both $50 vouchers when I reached PCP, conveniently also in my birthday month. So this information probably doesnt help.
