Qantas Wine latest offering

I've just ordered a dozen red I'm a bit worried that the $100 RRP Wolf Blass black label is going to be in there and everything else is junk

I'm expecting exactly that... But took a punt anyway - fingers crossed !!

Received the mixed red case. It did, surprisingly contain two whites....but I'm not complaining about Shadowfax 09 Chardonnay. I can confirm that the Wolf Blass was there along with a strong selection of older reds. I can't remember everything in it as the box was stuffed in a cellar, but certainly got the Yering Station, Howard Park, and other gems. I opened a Seppelt Bendigo Shiraz 2007 and it was sublime. Aged properly and absolutely at its peak. On the strength of this case I've ordered another.

Not even a Wolf Blass! Hows does the value stack up against what was paid?

Well if you take out the JC, it's probably only about $30 saved (going off the per bottle prices on epiqure) I remember they used to add the JC to certain dozens as a promotion and claimed the RRP to be $100+ but it's not that good a drop IMO.

That's a bit disappointing.

I would be ringing Epiqure re whites in a red mix.

I got in early in the first offer and seem to have done well. I wonder if it was oversold and later orders were dumbed down a little.
As it was for me, it's good to be able to get wines that are a few years more mature than those available at the cellar door or on the high street.
