Dear AFF'ers,

I think there is an issue with the booking system in QF. I'm trying to make a booking for Sept 2022 and I can see that my first & last name (which is automatically populated to the booking when logged in ) is changed.

My first and last names are NOT SME & SME :)

However, the FF number, email & phone numbers have not been affected. I checked my personal information on My Profile and it looks all good. I'm going to change my PIN just to be safe.

Anyone else seeing this?

I'm going to email/call QF and raise this as an issue. Could this be someone trying to hack/access the ccount?

I guess it's an acronym for "Sxx_xx Missing Entry"? Does your name display correctly elsewhere on the site?

elsewhere on the site?
I can see the correct name upon logging in successfully in the right hand corner of the home page ...
I can see the right name in the Personal Information page under My Profile
I can see the right name in the search panel, where it has a switch button for "I'm travelling for xx_x"

Is there any other place I can verify?

Can you book the ticket for a "family member" and manually enter your name? Say you are your own sibling/identical twin 😛

Why don't you just book the flight without logging in? That way you enter your name correctly. Later on in MMB you can add your frequent flyer number, ABN and select seats.

It's a reward booking with points

@Ade did not indicate his booking was a classic reward. The "use points" button was not selected. It appeared to be an open purchase, although classic rewards availability can also show up that way.
You are correct. Not sure why I assumed it was a reward booking.

Update on the issue : It seems to be fixed now. I spoke to QF CC about it, they had a look at my profile and couldn't find anything wrong with it. I was told it could be an intermittent issue with the website. To be on the safer side, I changed my pin. On reading other threads in AFF, I think there are some (read a LOT) of issues with the QF website & app lately. So I figure it one such random instance, unless of course someone else had also seen this & comes forward.
