Qantas unveils the biggest changes to status in program history

This would be a very useful and straightforward solution if I can transfer my QBR to Mrs H.
Just checked and it’s straight forward to transfer to others. Just select them from the Traveller list.

I don’t know how long they take to credit. Someone in the QBR thread ought to know.
If your transfer is imminent, would you mind posting how quickly they credit for SYD+1 please?
I’m holding off to closer to July myself to make sure we have the other points to make up the 350k.

I'm in a similar position, but hoping the new method to unlock the SC earn on CR bookings will be announced soon so I can decide if it's worth rushing to retain PC or aiming for new target.

@Captain Halliday
Can anyone recommend a reliable way to have 30k QFF points credit in a specific two day window that's not an EDR transfer?
The absolutely guaranteed option is to purchase points from Qantas as they credit instantly

But….

Ahoy there, Captain. Is it possible that she will earn enough points on dates you can’t control, to get to PC in the next 3 months?

That would take away the stress of make-or-break within a 2 day window…

Then on July 1st dump in your 120k EDR, and casually get to PC again in a couple of months before the changes arrive

Good thought and we considered that, thanks.

Not without transferring the EDR points.

As others have said, you can transfer your QBRs to anyone listed on your QBR account. I've transferred to +1 and IME the transfers are instantaneous.

Note that a maximum of 20,000 count towards points club.

And for context given @Captain Halliday is needing 30K, purchase points from Qantas have no limitations when it comes to contributing towards PC.

Just putting it out there rather than making a direct recommendation to go down that path.
And instant! Wine (much) better bang for buck, but guaranteeing points land over a 2-day window… not so much
