Loyalty Bonus + Green Tier + Points Club Plus rollover would do it. Easier said than done though. I have never had Points Club Plus and probably won’t ever have it now.

ive done this exact rollover for the past few years (when did PCP start again?) going to miss that 200 SC head start... My anniversary is March 31 so I usually follow up with an Easter DSC trip which will net me another 300-500. It certainly takes any pressure off retaining when you have 500-700 SC's in the bag within a week or two of the new year starting...
that 200 head start added to the additional 200 required to retain has me a bit nervous about the changes. obviously rollover and on the ground earn might offset a bit. It will come down to whether they keep SC earn on CR's. if that disappears, it might make me look elsewhere for a new/different program to play..

got my 1200 requalify in 3 months this year, have just booked another 1200 sc with the most recent DSC promo. this means I'll make 25000 lifetime before the end of 2025 - so under the new scheme bank my first platinum year. Feeling like I'm winning, may I should move to QR/BA or something, but it's ok for now.
Etihad first lounge in Abu Dhabi is brilliant. shame my very recent requal at platinum with VA is no longer getting me in there...

I am annoyed that one client booked me EK flights to Europe NOT QF/EK flights - I believe that means points only not SC.

Looking at my current situation - Currently have 850 status credits - membership expires this week. My understanding is of the new regime is I would roll over 75 status credits but would be less than what a silver member with 500 status credits would roll over. Definitely gives an incentive to make more bookings for a silver to achieve gold.

As per below, silver only gets 25%, so no the silver with 500 sc rolls over 50 sc.
The grass is not greener on the otherside.

Self-funders can likely do more of their travel using DSC as many business travellers may need more than a week to get approval for travel and then be expected to book promptly once approved to secure a good price.

If QF thinks that giving more benefits over and above already announced to SG/LTG will improve QF's bottom line, I'm sure they will seriously consider such moves.

It can be done if one moves early as soon as the DSC is announced. Public servants were able to capitalise on the DSCs notwithstanding the bureaucracy of the federal government processes compared to a corporate.

For international yes, for domestic there's almost no bureaucracy. A quick verbal approval from the delegate (which may be a rank lower than you) and you book the flights yourself online. Individual areas might add more layers but the actual policy is very straight forward.

As a former travel approval delegate for domestic never came across sudden surges of bookings around these promos and would question any approval being sought for travel months ( say more than 2-3) in advance.
The rigmarole for international travel approval took at least a fortnight- 3 separate endorsements or approval except in emergencies which my travel never was. I know other agencies were a bit more 'agile' in their processes.

This is what I do occasionally. Work travel has to be booked via 3rd party, and don't have knowledge in advance so it's impossible to take advantage of promos without self funding.

Well hopefully QF share the details soon so we can factor this into future plans and also guarantee they honour all DSC CR bookings made in the last 2 offers which are yet to be flown, as these were booked in good faith before this announcement.

Id like to see the ability to earn SCs on CR tied to status i.e:

• CL/WP1,WP earn 100% SCs
• SG earn 80% SC
• PS earn 60% SC
• NB earn 40% SC

Where is this new home? Considering the incentive to chase for 150k points a year diseapear, could make sense it s a new credit card benefit? My bet. Give us a hint please

Prefer a level playing field giving all FF an equal opportunity to climb the Status Tier.

More likely a tent that you can quickly tear down quickly, just after it has been established and people start moving in. Last thing we need is a stable home where everyone in the family moves in gets comfortable and never wants to leave. I think the airlines spend more time churning us, with their changes, than we do churning credit cards.
