Hello from Darwin!

I have been around the forum for a while, but never posted anything. I am still not sure how posting works here, e.g. when to start a new thread or when to add to an existing one that has been around for years, but hasn't had any activity for a while. So I am checking where this one will be ending up once I submit.
Apart from that, I found this forum really useful, as finding cheap flights from Darwin is usually a nightmare.
I am keen to get more involved! Cheers....

Hello fellow Darwin-ite. There's at least two of us here We have one of the most unique flying cultures in Australia and also one of the nicest/quietest Qantas clubs. Plus 11k rewards seats to Bali. And its easy to rack up the points flying anywhere from Darwin. There are some perks to being here!

Good to hear that there is someone here who is familiar with the peculiarities of flying from Darwin. I am sure there is no other place where the airlines come and go through the revolving door as here. When is the best time to find those 11k rewards seats to Bali?

Welcome @Sahoaction ….i had some of my more interesting flying experiences when I lived in Darwin. Many red-eyes south, leaving DRW in 32 degree sauna conditions in December and arriving in frigid LHR in 3 degrees. Flying from GOV to remote communities in N-24 Nomads if I remember correctly.
