Qantas to strike, expect delays - Travel - smh.com.au

QANTAS airline passengers should be prepared for flight chaos as engineers plan a series of 48-hour strikes in their campaign for better pay.

The airline has refused to improve on a pay offer of 3percent despite increasing fares and predicting a record profit this year.

The Australian Licensed Engineers Association has begun balloting members and industrial action will probably start in two weeks.
