Qantas to release thousands of Classic Reward seats in Y, PE, J, F on 24 Feb 2023 around 11am

Not sure why Qantas have omitted the "D" in AEST - it's a bit confusing otherwise.

It should be 11am AEDST (NSW / VIC / ACT / TAS) -
ie.
10:30am ACDT (SA)
10am AEST (QLD)
9:30am ACST (NT)
8am AWST (WA)?

Quite a few J seats to/from LHR/CDG in Nov/Dec with Cathay
Safe option to fly CX these days? (just checking before I dump a hash job of an itinerary for a straight run with them that's also a lot cheaper points)

I just flew with Cathay a few months ago (December / Jan) on a cash fare, no issues.

When I started my trip, you needed a negative RAT done @ HK airport before entering HK.

When I finished my trip, RAT tests were no longer required.

If you're just talking about in general and not COVID related, it's fine - things are pretty much back to normal in HK apart from the still high use of masks - typical in Asia still.

If you're just transitting in HK and not entering HK, you're all good.

Safari, Chrome, App all down for me. 16 min on hold using USA toll free # (assuming P1 gets equal priority if they use that?)

thank you! Will only be transit in HKG (flying CDG-MEL) so sounds good!

I booked syd-hkg and bne-hkg on CX J for 4. I was surprised by that as I could not see availability in AA and AS. I would have thought QF seats would have been released.

I just booked a flight, got up to the entering my credit card details, which I did, and then when I hit next I got the 500 error . So my booking has been created (I have a booking number) but it didn't deducted the QFF points and when I try and manage the booking it just gives me an error page.

This is going to be chaos in a few minutes. Site already crashing. Surely they knew this would happen?
