Qantas to install Wifi on their aircraft?

Maybe they'll take inspiration from EK and do $1 Wi-Fi.. at least on the A380s!

I have a feeling the 1$ fee is due to two things:
1- an incentive so that PAX connect more often to the wi-fi without worrying about the amount of data in the hope of creating a dependence in the future (and then raise the price)
2- the EK connectivity is still pretty patchy over the Indian ocean and at such a low price PAX are not really that upset when connection fails
