Qantas tier status on partner airlines

I'm about to book a big trip on BA. Does anyone know if Qantas will give me my gold status credit bonus? I can't get on to chat.

Do you mean the 75% status bonus on the frequent flyer points you earn? That can only be earned on QF, JQ and some AA flights.

You won't get the bouns FF points (as @opusman says), but BA will recognise your OWS status. The big benefit with BA (beyond the usual one World benefits) is free seat selection for you and others in your booking.
