Just wondering if anyone experienced this. Was playing with dates in .br for ADL-BKK which was happily showing BRL976 until about 30 mins ago. When I did the same query, error message appeared a number of times and when it came back on, the fare jumped additional BRL200! Checked other dates but it seems to be consistent. Lowest fare now at around BRL1150+ which is still cheaper than QF site but just wondering if they are rectifying the loophole  (Hope not as I have not booked enough flights yet!)

Debating whether to book PER-SIN return with one night's accommodation but unsure yet on my return date at this stage. Can you change return date after booking? If so, was it easy to do? Any fees associated with change of dates?

You really need to know your dates, changes later can be very expensive.

Just wanting to get final thoughts before committing to booking my quote.

Aussie QF quote is: $1,496.84 for 2 adults ($748.42 each) Plus $60.00 cc charge I would expect. This would be for flights QF35 (From Melb) & QF36 (Return from SIN).

BR site is pasted/cropped below: Quoting R$2,139.76 return (AU$981.11) for 2 people.

The flights are slightly different: QF35 (from Melb) & QF8404 (return from SIN, with Emirates).

Other then being non refundable, is there anything else I should know? (it says luggage might not be included....) The quotes I 've obtained (via qantas .au) is based on their current sale which ends on Nov 26th or so...

Singapore 2014 flight quote.jpg

1) Contact CC company to inform them that nothing bad is occuring (Bank West: no international fees)
2) Keep a copy of everything as proof...

Anything else? Is O class discount economy?

FWIW, I did QF8404 a couple of weekends back.. not in a hurry to do it again with 3-4-3 in the back of the bus!

Yes, O is (deep) discount economy.

I didn't get charged CC fees when booking through expedia.com.br

That looks right. However, I think some people have had issues with payment failing when using the translated version of the site. I put it back to 'show original' before submission and it worked fine (but didn't try it the other way).

Has anyone had problems throwing away the last portion of this ticket? I've been thinking about booking a return to Singapore then dumping the second portion and flying back via AUH. Looking at going during the Airshow still great flight deals.

should not be a problem if you just no-show for the return leg. Also, are you talking about the Dubai Air show?

I ditched QF36 returning on the Melbourne Cup, no problems, but not sure what problems I might have expected?
