Has anyone else had 2 payments go through for this fare?

I had a $50 one go through, but the remainder hasn't hit my card yet. When I look on the website payment history, it says

Date of paymentValuePaymentExpiration dateName of cardholderProcessed byType of purchaseActionPayment
02/06/2013R $ ***61MasterCardExpedia.com.brTripChargedN
02/06/2013R $ 1,****MasterCardOtherFare airlineSentN

Kind of hoping I don't turn up to the airport and not have a valid ticket! Says confirmed on QF and checkmytrip websites.

Yes. x 2 in fact.

I bought one through Decolar about a week ago and 2 separate items hit my CC: one was around $60 with Decolar as the merchant and the other was close to $2000 with Qantas Sao Paulo as the merchant. The total sum was correct (what was shown on the web site and I agreed to pay), but it happened to hit my account as two separate expenses.

Expedia is the same as mentioned a number of times up thread, one for their bit and the rest by QF.

But it's been 2 months since the first charge went through, and still no sign of the second?

I've been burnt before will missing valuable lounge time when my ticket can't be found ....

No e ticket in check my trip?

No e ticket in check my trip?

Hi Markis

I am getting worrried about two of my trips now and have just checked on my trip which I have never used before and would appreciate feedback on what to look for.

It is showing an E Ticket Number and also refers to all the flights as confirmed

Should I be concerned?

Thank you for you your feedback in advance

If you have an e ticket number and no changes have been requested by you since the booking, then its sweet! Seems to be a bit of FUD around regarding this method, given my last flight saw me in J on EK using this method thanks to an OP UP, I don't think there is much of an issue.

If the ticket's been issued and you have a reference number (and it's showing in your QFF account), I can't see how there'd be a problem even if the 2nd payment (for QF, not Expedia) hasn't gone through. Think of it as a bonus!

True, it can sit saving $$ off the home loan until the time comes to pay it :)

For a trip in a couple of weeks - payment made, booking ref in qantas my bookings. On checkmytrip eticket no visible but under that says eticket not processed.

Should I be concerned.

If you can see your booking on QF My Bookings that should mean you can select seats, do online check in, etc ?
I'd think you'd be okay ?

I certainly wouldn't be concerned if I was in your position. If the booking showed up in My Bookings I wouldn't even check checkmytrip.
But that's just me.

Same for me. Two bookings LHR-PER, payment taken, seats selected, e-ticket numbers showing, but the status in CheckMyTrip says "e-ticket to be processed". Other bookings I have made through ba.com say (for e.g.) "e-ticket processed 09AUG13"

There’s been a schedule change with SYD-SIN now leaving an hour earlier but no corresponding change with my connecting flight from MEL. My booking now only shows a 30 min connection in SYD. Expedia’s email says they’ve already accepted the changes on my behalf and there is no need to confirm with them. QF just told me that only the travel agent which booked the ticket can change the connecting flight. Is there any risk to me just showing up extra early at the airport and hope to be put up on an earlier flight?

30 minutes is under the MCT, so you will need to change the MEL-SYD flight. As QF have changed the SYD-SIN flight time, hopefully the TA won't charge you any fare difference.

But that TA is expedia.com.br. From what I've read of this thread calling them might not be the most pleasant experience and part of me feels I shouldn't have to since QF is the one that changed the schedule so they should be the ones fixing it.

Sorry, didn't spot what thread this was in. I would try to argue the point with QF first, and then ring expedia and ask for an english speaking CSA.
