Qantas Status Credits

I lost my gold status and fell back to silver. I now need 470 status credits to get my gold back by September. Is there any way I can do this? Any suggestions much appreciated?

HI Norton, I can see you are new now, so I will be serious, there is only 1 way to gain status and that is flying. this forum has massive amounts of ways to do this to help you gain status.
you do need to think about the following
Do you have QFF points to burn?
how much cash do you want to use?
Where are you based?

you could achieve your goal in 1 weekend if you want, all of the info is on this site
a good place to start is to look up status runs and read on. everyone does it a little differently

There's business class on sale right now. Being based in CBR, if I wanted to requal for Gold I would book CBR-SYD-OOL return in J for $900 for 160SC.

But then I realised $900 is half a year of body corporate.... couldn't justify it!

Thanks for comments! I noticed that some of the earlier responses were in 2011 and 2012 and just wondered of all these options are still in place. I will check back again.

Hi norton541, your profile doesn't give much away regarding your preferred airline, budget etc. However, from your post I'll assume you're with QF. If so, BNE - KTA JASA is your friend. Max miles, airtime and great views. And going by my last trip, epic service.
