It was! Although the speeds crossing the Pacific weren’t exactly fast, and it dropped out for a substantial chunk. Hoping F3 sorts that out - once we got closer to the US mainland it was much more usable (although not sure how it would fare were the whole plane streaming). Was wifi available in the end?
Had been expecting it back a few days ago. Taking a little longer than other recent 787s. Maybe getting some other work as well.interesting... ZNL
All NZ flying 737s should have active WiFi.they are now all on 737-800s
Thanks, fingers crossed the app is wrong then. All NZ flying 737s should have active WiFi.
(Technically the newest 4 ex-SQ aircraft don't have it but they are being quarantined to domestic routes from BNE).
Just to add to what was said, I find most times the app errs on the side of caution. Qantas would rather have it be a nice surprise than have customers complaining if it drops out slightly during the flight. The best way to know for sure is the rego of the aircraft. Thanks, fingers crossed the app is wrong then.

I've seen this a lot lately where the app shows no wifi on international routes operated by 737s, in reality its been working fine.Have people found the app to be reliable with whether or not the plan will have wifi or do I have a chance?
Not always, they've appeared to/from SYD/MEL/BNE in recent weeks but you won't see them on international flights.(Technically the newest 4 ex-SQ aircraft don't have it but they are being quarantined to domestic routes from BNE).
